¡Sí se pudo!
Submitted by Jose on May 3, 2008 - 7:18am.Congratulations and thanks to the many companeras y companeros who made May Day 2008 possible. Through collective and collaborative effort between more than 30 different organizations, musicians, labor unions, community members, high school and college students, families and churches, a clear and united message was sent yesterday.
With a diverse group of people standing together in solidarity, the San Diego community made a stand for the rights of immigrants and working people here and abroad.
About Us
The Sí Se Puede Immigrants' Rights Organization was formed in 2006 in San Diego as an outgrowth to the Mega Marches of the same year. We are a group of concerned members of the community, working together to create social change specifically for immigrants. We stand for No Militarization of the Border and Legalization for All.
